The concept of social contribution and the importance of volunteering is of particular value to the students of the 3rd Lyceum of our school, who actively participated in the 12th consecutive blood drive organized on the school grounds, expressing their dedication and contribution to the community.
On Thursday, April 25, 2024, the blood donation, which is a tradition for the school, took place with great participation and enthusiasm. Initially, students and teachers were informed about the benefits and value of blood donation by the doctor-anesthesiologist of the General Hospital of Komotini and vice-president of the Association of Volunteer Blood Donors N. Rodopis, Mr. KiamiloglouBulent, and then the blood donation process began.
More than 60 vials of blood were collected causing satisfaction and joy.
Warm congratulations to the children and teachers who gave blood by teaching a great lesson: voluntary blood donation is an act of love and sensitivity.
