Call to workers to celebrate Labor Day on Wednesday, from the Labor Center of Heraklion.

Workers and Trade Unions continue the battle to reverse the recipes of recession, layoffs, unemployment, reversals of our insurance and social rights, privatization of Public Services and Organizations.
On this historic day of May 1, the Greek workers, we join our voice with the workers all over the world who fight against poverty and impoverishment, injustices, social discrimination, xenophobia, racism.
The magnitude of the attack we have received on our employment and insurance rights requires ALL workers to join forces.
Honoring the pioneer fighters of the labor movement, all those who sacrificed throughout time for the great and sacred rights of our class, all those who defended with their very lives DEMOCRACY, JUSTICE, EQUALITY, FREEDOM and PEACE we owe ALL TOGETHER to give a competitive-strike present on M. WEDNESDAY MAY 1.
Wreaths will be laid at the monument to the fallen of the Trade Union Movement as well as at the places where Stratis Pergalidis and the Hatzigeorgiou brothers were murdered.
