An online feud broke out between the health minister Adonis Georgiadis and the president of the Hellenic Solution Kyriakos Velopoulos for the Floros – Grammenos episode at Parliament.
In his post, Adonis Georgiadis, published one video with statements by the independent MP of Aitoloakarnania Dionysis Valtogiannis (former Spartan), who was in front of the Floros – Grammenos episode and in which he describes what happened that day in the Parliament. The Minister of Health accuses the president of Hellenic Solution of denying that the deputy of Grammenos cursed the mother of Floros, which is refuted as stated by the testimony of Valtogiannis.
“Kyriakos Velopoulos hastened to accuse me, that I lied and that Mr. Grammenos’ deputy never insulted Mr. Floros’s mother with vulgar expressions. He did it to avoid political costs. Yesterday, however, the Independent MP of Aitoloakarnania, Mr. Valtogiannis (former Spartan himself…) testified under oath in the Court, that in front of him he heard and saw the MP of “Hellenic Solution”, Mr. Grammenos, saying exactly all these things against the mother of Mr. Floros , which led to the explosion of Mr. Floros. Now either Mr. Grammenos will have to sue for false testimony against Mr. Valtogiannis or Mr. Velopoulos should remove Mr. Grammenos without much discussion. Dear Kyriakos, the show is good for the Christian Faith and Orthodoxy, but every faithful Christian would tell you that we never curse the mother for any reason, she is the holiest person for all of us! Let’s see you now, President of the “Hellenic Solution”, what will you do, because you are good with words, but here actions are needed… PS: if Mr. Grammenos has really said this, he should admit it and take charge with dignity and his own share of responsibility, but also to give the necessary mitigations to Mr. Floros for his outburst. That would be a truly dignified behavior. And I’m just saying this so that some naive people will understand what material these “superpatriots” who accuse us from morning to night are really made of.”
Kyriakos Velopoulos responded to Adonis Georgiadis’s post, saying that “But aren’t you ashamed? Are you invoking a member of parliament that your party says belongs to Kasidiaris? MEMBER OF KASIDIARIS are you referring to? AREN’T YOU SHY TO TARGET PEOPLE? If something happens to Grammenos, you are responsible! He is the head of a family with 3 small children! YOU ARE UNACCEPTABLE… DONE! PS: WE WRITE TO YOU SO THAT YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT CRIME YOU ARE COMMITTING!
The reaction from him was immediate minister of health who answered Kyriakos Velopoulos: “It is really a shame for the Leader of a supposed Christian and Patriotic Party to defend with such anger the insults against someone’s mother, even his enemy! The mother is the holiest person in the family and with his behavior he proves that in front of the votes he counts absolutely nothing”.
“Again the same lies, minister, that you write about… You collude with Kasidiaris as well as your party! You targeted a family man, Grammenos who grew up with his mother alone! Without a father! Shame”answered him Kyriakos Velopoulos.
