The police in Thessaloniki put an end to the action of the young people. Their gang was behind robberies and break-ins at convenience stores and gas stations…

The gang in Thessaloniki was made up of young people, who targeted shops. Sometimes they proceeded to break-ins and other times to armed robberies. After an investigation, the Authorities reached the traces and began to unravel the tangle of their actions. In all cases they were well read and made no mistakes. They hit fast and left with money. The descriptions of the victims and a series of images recorded by security cameras, led the steps of the police on the path of investigation.

A gang of young men, had become the fear and terror of businessmen in Thessaloniki, as they opened one store after another. Police have arrested five youths, aged 18 to 20, who, since early March, have committed eight armed robberies and six break-ins at convenience stores and gas stations.

These are stores in Neapoli, Sykies, Pylaia and other areas of the city. Those arrested, who made more than 6,000 euros from their illegal activity, will be brought before the Prosecutor today.
