EOS Tripoli Climbing Mount Trachy

EOS Tripoli organizes on Sunday, April 28, 2024, a climb to Mount Trachy.

We will start our route from the village of Artemisio (Kakuri) 650m altitude, and we will climb to Armenia (1,755m),

the peak that dominates the plateau of Mantineia.

Explanation of degree of difficulty: P2 Mountain Hiking

Activity suitable for people in very good physical condition, basic knowledge of orientation and some familiarity with the mountain. The movement is usually by footpath, in semi-mountainous and mountainous environment. Pathways are adequately marked, not exposed, or of sufficient width so that there is no objective risk of a very serious fall. Artificial safety devices (fixed ropes, ladders, railings) have been placed in any dangerous places. The terrain is consistently uphill, sometimes rugged, sometimes loose. No climbing required.
