A visit to the 3rd EPAL of Heraklion was carried out by the “HERAKLEION FOR YOU” Municipal Group in order to inform about the issues of the school as submitted in writing by its Management to the Municipality of Heraklion.
Head Maria Kanavaki together with the members of the faction, Giorgos Despotopoulos, Giorgos Kanakis and Zacharias Sfakianakis were informed by the director of the school, Katerina Savoulidis, about the property and technical issues of the building, as well as about other issues that the school unit faces and that concern the responsibilities of the Municipality.
Mrs. Kanavaki, after stating how important the education issues are for “HERAKLEION FOR YOU”, expressed her congratulations to the work that the teachers are doing under adverse conditions and pointed out that the school’s requests are serious and therefore they should there will be a response from the Municipal Authority, additionally emphasizing that since it is a Vocational High School of 260 students, support from the Municipality is also necessary in equipment, infrastructure and means for the operation of the laboratory courses.
Mrs. Savoulidi thanked Mrs. Kanavaki and her team for their immediate interest and sincere willingness to help in the direction of routing and solving the school’s problems.
