The professionals of Ioannina are waiting for the spring visitors ahead of Easter. The Hoteliers’ Association already estimates that this ten-day period will also see traffic and visitors will prefer the “Ioannina” destination.
In fact, they “bet” on good weather and Continental Nature, making it an ideal destination. “It is known that from September onwards, throughout the winter period during holidays and holidays, occupancy in hotels was almost absolute throughout the Prefecture”, reports the Hoteliers’ Association. And he considers that Continental Nature is a “lure” for visitors, underlining that “in the spring, when the weather is generally milder, there is an opportunity for easier excursions in nature for the whole family as well as for extreme sports, such as rafting or mountaineering, which are popular in the area anyway.
On the other hand, he adds, nobody will ever get bored in the city of Ioannina. The capital of Epirus is one of the most beautiful cities in Greece with its beautiful lake, its magnificent castle, its historical monuments, its recognized museums, its updated market and its tireless nightlife, he adds, recalling that sports and culinary tourism attract visitors. In addition, he emphasizes that the “pros” of the area include the easy accessibility, through the major road axes.
