Giorgis Christodoulou returns to Patras, with the audience’s favorite musical performance – a tribute to Attikus, tomorrow Saturday at 21.00 at the “orofos” theater.

In an entertaining, moving and theatrical way and a vehicle for the narration of modern storytellers, the show picks up the thread from the first day of the composer’s arrival in Paris and with stories about the time, the city, his great career in France and his loves , unfolds with songs and piano compositions in two hours that reveal another Atticus.
The three-year research of Giorgis Christodoulou brought to light a number of anecdotal songs of the composer, unrecorded successes of their time that we have not had the opportunity to hear until now.
Attikus was the first Greek in history who had a long career abroad for over twenty years.
Unknown aspects of his work together with prose, narratives, the Paris of Nikos Kazantzakis (fellow student of Attic), Cocteau, Picasso, Dali, Proust, but also the composer’s Greek songs, such as the legendary “Zitate na say”, which made him so dear to the Greek public, are combined in a charged and moving performance.
In the second part, “Other stories”, Giorgis, always using the narration of modern storytellers as a vehicle, reveals the stories and secrets hidden behind favorite songs such as “Let’s come for a while”, “Poso lypamai”, “You will come again “, “Two green eyes” etc.
The first Greek songs written by women for women, the law that forbade them to wear short skirts, the adventure of Sophia Vembo and her flight to Egypt, many stories unfold together with the songs, making the show unforgettable for those who watch it .
The performance in its successful course, opened the concerts of the Athens Festival with a sold out concert and continued with the release of a book-cd, which quickly sold out and proceeded to its second and third reissues.
