Mr. Kasselakis added that he is religious with respect for the “beliefs” of others, saying that he must “break” the stereotype that SYRIZA is against tradition, while regarding the miracle at his baptism he said that “it is not bad to believe no one in miracles”, while he maintained that he himself respects the greatness of God, the greatness of nature.

About the European Union he said “it is a complex organization which lacks inspiration and accountability to the European citizen” and “is considered by too many Europeans to be a bureaucratic lobby”. But he emphasized that “there are cuts that can be made to change Europe”.
He disputed that SYRIZA has not yet reached 17% of the previous elections, saying to his interlocutor “you don’t know if we are at 17%, because there are such polls with such percentages and they have reached the Maximos Palace”.
In relation to Palestine, he noted: “For Gaza, we say there must be a ceasefire, from there on we have condemned terrorist attacks. There is no support for Israel but condemnation of terrorist attacks.”
