In a particularly pleasant atmosphere, a meeting was held with the Deputy Regional Governor of Public Health, Annas Mastorakou and the Deputy Regional Governor for Citizen Services and Digital Governance, Theodoros Vassilopouloswith which they launched a collaboration aimed at exploiting new technologies in the health sector and upgrading the services provided.
The two Deputy Governors are joining forces to find programs and financial tools that will utilize new technologies (digital health) to improve the prevention and management of health issues as well as lifestyle habits that affect health.
The use of innovative applications of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the broader digital transformation of the health sector greatly improve the lives of citizens, both at the level of prevention and the adoption of a healthier lifestyle, as well as at the level of chronic disease management, access to care and improving treatments and medical technology products while securing sensitive personal health data.
