Patras: Incident on a City bus

--

“Peloponnisos” received a new complaint from a passenger yesterday, regarding “unprofessional”, as he claims, behavior of the driver of the Urban KTEL Patras.

Yiannis Vogiatzis contacted the newspaper and referred to an episode that happened the day before yesterday, on the route of line two. Mr. Vogiatzis said: “I have a complaint about the behavior of an urban KTEL driver who was running a route on line 2 when, on yesterday’s route, I wanted to stop at a stop near Navarinou Street, I pressed the button, but the driver did not stop. When I asked him why he didn’t stop, he started cursing me vulgarly, with indecent expressions and at the same time told me that he doesn’t stop at the next stop either, but at the one after that, which he did. Meanwhile, other passengers who tried to say something, he cursed them too. I am begging the authorities to keep the problems that the City Bus employees have to themselves and not to lash out at the passengers who are not to blame for such behavior”.

“Peloponnisos” sought to contact the president of Patras Urban KTEL, Yiannis Rigas, to give his point of view on the incident, but it was not possible.

However, this is not the first time that passengers have complained about the behavior of Astikos KTEL drivers.
