The 1st “Pink Together” is organized on Sunday, May 26 with the slogan “TOGETHER for Hope” by the “Alma Zois” Association
With the slogan “TOGETHER for Hope”the Women’s Breast Cancer Association “Leap of Life” N. Thessaloniki, invites us all this May to the Statue of Alexander the Great and to 1st “Pink Together”the largest informational campaign in Northern Greece for the Prevention and Early Diagnosis of Breast Cancer.
On Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 17:00, the New Beach of Thessaloniki, at the Statue of Alexander the Great, is going to turn “pink” in celebration of the great gift of life!
An important event of this year’s event will be the free event Clinical Breast Screening for those women who wish to be examined with the cooperation of doctors specialized in breast issues, from the 2nd Pre-Educational Surgery Clinic of the University of Athens “IPPOKRATEIO”, while there will also be the possibility for free Breast Ultrasound by Radiologist Mrs. Maria Malandri. Also, FREE Mammograms will be given in collaboration with diagnostic centers in the event that further testing is needed.
This year, Hospitals, Organizations and Associations from all over Northern Greece participate in the “TOGETHER for Hope” information campaign, which will support the organization with parallel actions. The campaign is carried out under the auspices of: Ministry of Interior, Macedonia-Thrace, Region of Central Macedonia – Metropolitan Unit of Thessaloniki, Region of Central Macedonia, Municipality of Thessaloniki, Hellenic Breast Surgery Society, Medical Association of Thessaloniki.
