The open dialogue with the local community continues and for this reason, an event has been planned on the progress and development of the construction projects of the new Sparta General Hospital, Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
The action will take place on Monday, May 13, 2024at 6 in the afternoon, at Goude Parkat Sparta.
Similar events will be held for the hospitals of Thessaloniki and Komotini.
The goal of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation is to inform the local community about the development of these very large investments.
Representatives of the Foundation, the Ministry of Health, the study group and the construction contractor (AVAX Group) will participate in the discussion.
The Deputy Minister of Health Marios Themistokleous also participates.
The donation for the design, construction and equipment of the new Sparta SNF general hospital is part of the international health initiative. It is financed entirely by the INS. The total budget of all 3 new hospitals is 1 billion dollars.
With the completion of the construction process of the new hospital in Sparta (as well as those in Thessaloniki and Komotini), they will be handed over to the Greek public, for immediate operation, within the framework of the NHS.
