Attiki Odos: The Kantza entrance in the direction of Spata – Markopoulos is closed

Due to heavy maintenance work, the following will remain closed: the Kantzas entrance (Junction 17) in the direction of Airport/Markopoulos, as well as the exit to Katehaki Street (Junction Y1) in the direction of Athens – Center.

Specifically:

The entrance from Kantza (Junction 17), in the direction of Airport/Markopoulos, will remain closed from 22:00 on the evening of Thursday 25/04/2024 until 06:00 on the morning of Friday 26/04/2024.

During the above blockade, drivers from Kanza bound for the Airport/Markopoulos, in order to enter Attiki Odos, can choose either the entrance from Marathonos Street (Junction 15), or the entrance from the Glykon Neron Junction (Junction Y6), or the entrance from the Peania Junction (Junction 18).

It will remain closed from 22:00 on the evening of Thursday 25/04/2024 until 06:00 on the morning of Friday 26/04/2024, the exit of the Western Regional Avenue of Ymittos towards Katehaki Avenue (Junction Y1), at direction to Athens – Center.

During the above blockade, drivers can continue their journey towards Alimou – Karea Road, take the next exit towards Kaisariani from where they will turn around in order to move through Alimou – Katehaki Road towards Athens – Center.

Attiki Odos sincerely thanks for your understanding and for everyone’s safety, it asks drivers to pay particular attention to the relevant signage and to respect the speed limits in the sections where heavy maintenance work is in progress.

On the company website (www.aodos.gr) and on Twitter/X (@aodostraffic) there is continuous information 24 hours a day about the traffic regulations that apply in sections on Attiki Odos as part of the heavy maintenance work. The site also provides a live image from 6 cameras placed at key points of the highway (www.aodos.gr/live-streaming/).
