Konstantinos Floros is free for the beating in the Parliament – The condition is not to…

--

Free on probation the current independent and former MP of the Spartans, Konstantinos Floros, was released after his apology, after the attack on the Hellenic Solution MP, Vassilis Grammenos.

An investigator and a prosecutor imposed the condition on him not to approach Vassilis Grammenos at a distance of less than 50 meters.

According to information, the defendant for a self-inflicted felony punishable by 10 years in prison, said repentant for the incident that brought him to justice, denying however that he punched Mr. Grammenos.

The independent MP was in court earlier to testify Dionysis Valtogiannis who was present inside the room during the debate in the Plenary of the Parliament. According to the witness, it was Mr. Grammenos who spoke rudely to the defendant.

“As a son I did the right thing, as a deputy I did the wrong thing”

Constantinos Floros himself, in statements he made to journalists, after the decision of the investigator, said that as a son he did the right thing but as a member of parliament it was wrong.

“I have only one statement to make. As a son at that moment and driven by emotion, I considered that I did the right thing. But because I also carry a very important quality, that of a Greek parliamentarian, I did absolutely wrong. This behavior does not befit a Greek parliamentarian and for the premises of the Parliament and is not an example for a Greek parliamentarian” he said characteristically.
