The 4th Sparta High School at the Foundation for the Care of Chronic Patients

In recent years, at the 4th Gymnasium Sparta “Yiannis Ritsos”, the students, just before the days of Easter, prepare candles, which they offer to our fellow human beings.

This year too, the students of all classes made 30 beautiful handmade Easter candles.

On Wednesday, April 24, a delegation of students from the Association of Parents and Guardians and the Association of Teachers offered them in a beautiful box hand-painted by the student of the 3rd grade, Raphaela Caponikolou, together with an Easter basket of sweets, to the “St. Panteleimon”.

In an atmosphere of emotion, they had the opportunity to exchange warm wishes of love in view of the Holy Days of the Passion and Resurrection of our Lord.

The guests were welcomed by the Director of the Foundation, Mr. Georgios Kontos, who praised this initiative of the students, as it brought special joy to the students, who in turn, presented their own beautiful paintings to the students.

Then the Director of the institution, father Nikolaos Tsetsekas, wished a happy Resurrection and a happy Easter and congratulated the students for this beautiful action.

In this effort, the Association of Parents and Guardians of the 4th Gymnasium Sparta “Yiannis Ritsos” is a valuable helper, as always. Also, thanks are due to Mrs. Panagiota Skiadas for donating the lamps.
