According to the forecasts of the meteorologists, some disturbances are expected from the middle of the Holy Week, which is very likely to bring showers and make it difficult to bake the arrowroot.

According to the meteorologist Clearchos Marousakis, the weather will be generally good until Holy Wednesday and Holy Thursday when the meltemias will prevail, while if there are some rains they will affect eastern and northern Greece.
However, from Maundy Thursday onwards some disturbances from central Europe will move further east.
“Maundy Thursday until Easter Monday is very likely to encounter unsettled weather conditions mainly in the west, central and north and especially midday and afternoon hours when we may have storms and showers”Mr. Marousakis emphasized.
Specifically, the areas that will be affected are:
- Ionian
- western mainland Greece
- western and central Mainland
- Macedonia
- Thrace
Sakis Arnautoglou: “Mysterious weather for Easter Sunday”
In his post, the meteorologist Sakis Arnautoglou reports that from next Sunday and most of the days of Holy Week the weather will remain good in most areas of the country, with a few local storms in the mountains of central and northern Greece during the warm hours of the day.
“The midday temperatures will remain at fairly normal levels for the season, along with relative coolness at night and in the morning hours.
