THE Manolis Famellos comes on Saturday June 8th to the Grove Theater with an ark full of interwar songs – and not only – of those that were lightly labeled and as the wind of time once took them away from us… so now they return with the wind again, many of them, almost a century later, but keeping their specific gravity intact.
The great composers of the time (Attik, Giannidis, Hatziaapostolou, Hairopoulos and many others) are here again in modern hybrid performances edited by Manolis Famellos and performed in the company of dear friends composing a bouquet not of dried but of fresh flowers that can be heard today in a time when everything seems to have completely changed. Guests of Manolis Fammelos will be Doros Dimosthenous, Yiannis Kotsiras, Penny Baltatzi, Natassa Bofiliou and Panos Mouzourakis.
