EDE for the hospitalization conditions of the father of G. Kallianos in Attiko

A Sworn Administrative Examination into the hospitalization conditions of the father of Yiannis Kallianos was ordered by the administration of the Attica Hospital, after the death of Dimitris Kallianos at the age of 79 earlier today Thursday.

“Following yesterday’s press release of the P.G.N. “ATTIKON” announces today 25/4/2024 the death of Dimitrios Kallianos and we express our deepest condolences to his family. In order to investigate all the hospitalization conditions of the incident from the day of his admission until today, the Administration of the P.G.N. “ATTIKON” ordered the conduct of a Sworn Administrative Examination”.

Kallianos: “The doctors said…we are tearing up our degrees”

It is recalled that Yiannis Kallianos had emphasized the seriousness of his father’s condition, even expressing his complaints about the way the family was treated at the hospital, an issue which took on dimensions after the post made by the meteorologist and New Democracy MP.

Specifically, Mr. Kallianos expressed his anger at the treatment of his sick father by the hospital and the doctors in which he was treated, speaking of huge mistakes that endangered his father’s life. At noon on Thursday (24/04) Mr. Kallianos made new statements, while the response of the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis and the announcements of the “Attikon” hospital and POEDIN were preceded.

Mr. Kallianos used harsh language again in his response to the hospital’s announcement, which preceded, regarding the subject of his father’s hospitalization. “I wish the director and every doctor if he has children, that his children will never see him the way I saw my father,” he initially said speaking to MEGA after the hospital’s response, which he described as “salty” and added: “Everyone they told me “we are tearing up our degrees, your father is doing great”, while my father was short of breath”.

“I hope they will deal with me with what they have to do,” said Yiannis Kallianos, also mentioning that he will give names, while regarding his father’s hospitalization, he also said: “Students were coming in. Will a freshman see a dying patient in one day?’

Finally, he commented on the position of the Minister of Health. “I was saddened by Adonis with the announcement he made. My dear friend do not try to round the situation.’

In addition to the Minister of Health, POEDIN also issued a statement regarding the video uploaded by Yiannis Kallianos on social media.

POEDIN: “Unfortunate and heated statement of Kallianos – We are not afraid of threats”

In its announcement, POEDIN speaks of an “unfortunate” statement by G. Kallianos and declares: “We are not afraid of his threats, which we want to believe were made in the heat of the moment.” The Federation says that it understands the pain and concern of the family, while its president Michalis Giannakos assured that Mr. Kallianou’s father received the best possible care. He mentions, in fact, that the attendants demanded the continuous care of the nurses, while explaining the situation prevailing in the clinic, where there are only two or three nurses for 44 patients.
