The latter’s lawyer, Vasso Pantazis, spoke on the ANT1 show “Good Morning Greece” about the unacceptable episode in Parliament of the beating of the Hellenic Solution MP Vassilis Grammenos by the independent MP who was elected with the Spartans Konstantinos Floros.

Ms. Pantazi spoke of an “unfortunate incident” and expressed her discomfort with the fact that an article of the Criminal Code was used for a felony.

She then denied what has come to light and claims that her principal had punched his colleague citing the testimony of a police officer who was in front of the incident and as she said was the only eyewitness.

“Mr. Floros never accepted a punch,” he stressed. According to her, her principal claimed that “I pulled him by the lapel, we pushed each other and I actually pushed him and he fell down”. “Obviously the man as he fell down, he hit,” she claimed for Mr. Grammenos, referring to the broken nose suffered by the Hellenic Solution MP.

“My client and in front of the prosecutor yesterday said that if he could go back in time, he would have acted calmly and would not have let himself be carried away by the indignation he felt about the insults that were heard about his mother,” said Mrs. Pantazi.
