On Thursday morning, the former MP of the Spartans Konstantinos Floros, who is charged with a felony for the attack inside the Parliament against the MP of the Hellenic Solution, Vassilis Grammenos, was brought before the Investigator for his apology.
The accused, who remains in custody since yesterday after the deadline he received from the Investigator, is asked to apologize for violence against a member of parliament during the exercise of his duties, for the attack inside the Parliament.
“I can’t stand being cursed at my mother”
In his morning statements to ANT1, the former Spartan MP emphasized that he reacted when Grammenos cursed his mother and he categorically denied punching him.
“The whole incident started with Mr. Chita’s speech about the removal of Mr. Velopoulos’ immunity that comes from a lawsuit that my father filed about 2-2.5 years ago for defamation through a fake account on X. Mr. Chitas, on his word, said that Mr. Velopoulos has nothing to do with this particular case. At that moment, I simply told him that “this will be decided by the courts, not you.” , unnecessarily and without me having spoken to him, Mr. Grammenos jumped up and said to me, ‘you screw it up’, I turn around and say to him ‘come on…’ and he tells me ‘I’ll c… m… you’. I say to him ‘what did you say’. He leaves at that moment and I sit back in my seat,” Floros initially told ANT1.
“He comes back provokingly, he handcuffed me, he tells me ‘you, your mother will f… old…’, he tells me ‘remember that, they will take you inside handcuffed’. I leave that moment, because I do not tolerate anyone cursing my mother, who is the most sacred thing I have and I think it is for the whole world, I went out to the entrance, the guard of the Parliament was there, Mr. Grammenos was there too here, get away from me.” He pushes me and at that moment I grab him by the collar and throw him down. Not even the slightest bit of punches. And that’s where the people gathered, and they didn’t nothing else happened”.
