These fervent words of Ashraf Shishir, a well-known human rights activist and filmmaker of independent cinema, are written on the award recently received by Nikos Kouros’ film “No Oxygen” at the Gunj International Film Festival held in Mumbai. It was the film’s 40th festival participation in a row, since April 2021 when it was first released, while its course in international film festivals around the world seems to be continuing.
