The process takes place up to two hours before the start of the exam for all written subjects and three hours for Ancient Greek Language and Literacy/Ancient Greek, English and Modern Greek Language and Literature/Modern Greek, as well as for the Design Content courses.

During this process, teachers take into account the special teaching conditions of the subjects and the general operation of the school unit during the current school year.

In the event that for technical reasons in a High School it is not possible to draw the subjects, the relevant Director of Education is informed and the relevant draw takes place at the Directorate’s offices. Matters are sent to the school in the most convenient way.

The general responsibility for the smooth conduct of the exams within the Subject Bank of Graded Difficulty, such as the provision of instructions or support, as well as for dealing with special problems that arise in the school units under his responsibility, rests with the Director of the Department of Educational Education. For this purpose, an employee is designated in each Department of Education as the Head of the Subject Bank of Graded Difficulty.
