“All those who take courage and strength from the struggles that are getting stronger in Greece, have one choice: To strengthen the KKE which is at the forefront of these struggles. And today’s event is proof that we can succeed, each one in his own way putting his own little stone in the effort of our Party. A strong KKE in Greece and to Greeks abroad is the strongest message of resistance to the peoples of Europe and the whole world.”
This message was sent by the event held by KKE Friends Club in Torontoon the evening of Wednesday, April 25, with the main speaker, Mr General Secretary of the Central Committee of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoumba.
The hall of the Toronto Greek Community was filled with Greeks from the diaspora, older and younger immigrants who enthusiastically welcomed the KKE delegation, confirming the historical ties of the Party with the diaspora, bonds that are renewed today in the struggles for what the Greek diaspora needs, giving the promise that “the members and friends of the KKE and here in Canada are giving our best for the success of our goals so that the KKE will come out even stronger”, as he emphasized opening the event Takis Asimopoulossecretary of the KKE Friends Club in Toronto.
