The photo exhibition “From darkness … to light” by Eva Kapellaki – Kontou with the artistic intervention of Fr. of the Vikelaian Library of Heraklion. The duration of the exhibition is until Saturday, May 4.

A few words about the exhibition

Holy Easter is approaching and humanity is in constant turmoil, in a constant search to redefine its identity. In all corners of the planet war lurks, because peace cannot prevail. Difficult days in the run-up to Easter… Man wants, he constantly seeks to find peace within himself, to advance his steps by climbing the personal Golgotha ​​to reach the Resurrection.

“From the darkness … to the light”, from the search and the difficult path to the resurrection of the soul, man tries, shouts inside he can’t take it anymore and all that is left for him is to embrace the light, that which thirsts for his soul to continue his course.

Exposure Time: Tuesday, April 23 – Saturday, May 4, 2024.

Working hours: Monday – Wednesday – Saturday 09:00 – 14:30 Tuesday – Thursday – Friday 09:00 – 14:30 and 17:30 – 20:30.

Sundays and holidays closed.
