The Athenaeum Hotels Group announced the opening of a new five-star luxury hotel in the heart of Athens, “The Athenaeum”.
Specifically, the luxury hotel, located opposite the Pillars of Olympian Zeus, will be operational in early May 2024, according to the Group’s announcement.
It is a corner 6-storey building, in a strategic location, at the intersection of Vouliagmenis Avenue and Kallirois, with a perimeter view of the entire city, from the Acropolis, the Pillars of Olympian Zeus, Lycabettus to Zappeion and is within walking distance of all major attractions and from the commercial center of Athens.
The exterior of the hotel is decorated with climbing plants visually unobstructedly connecting the building with the green landscape that stretches on the opposite side of Kalliroi from the Pillars of Olympian Zeus to the National Garden.
“The Athenaeum” has 52 rooms and suites with views of the city, the Acropolis, Lycabettus or the Pillars of Olympian Zeus.
The Athenaeum Hotels Group is a chain of city hotels with a strong presence and rapid growth in the capital.
It already operates four 4* hotels, Athenaeum Grand and Athenaeum Smart on Syngrou Avenue, Athenaeum Eridanus on Piraeus Avenue and Athenaeum K-29 on Agios Konstantinos.
With the addition of the new luxury hotel The Athenaeum, the Athenaeum Hotels Group will now have a total of 5 hotels in the most central parts of Athens, all around the Acropolis and within walking distance of the main and most important points and attractions of the city.
