The African dust persists to the east and south as until midday and in the afternoon we will have some concentrations, certainly not at the levels of the last two days when we had an extreme episode of African dust, according to Clearchos Marousakis.

The north-west wind comes in which will clear the atmosphere of these large concentrations.

We have a barometric low towards the region of western and northern Greece, that is, there will be a disturbance which will move towards the east-northeast.

With the help of rainfall, the air will be cleaned at the same time, but it will create a pressure difference which will remove the dust in the areas that will not rain.

This disturbance will last for 24 hours with rains to the west central and north and a drop in temperature.

The weather for the next few days
From Friday, the weather will clear with very good atmospheric air quality, with northwesterly winds persisting until midday, after which they will begin to subside.

The meltemi also enters the Aegean from Saturday with intensities of 6 to 7 Beaufort and the rains, if they appear until the beginning of Holy Week, will mainly concern the most north-eastern parts of our country.

Temperature close to 23 to 26 degrees Celsius.

The weather during Holy Week
It seems that until Maundy Wednesday with Maundy Thursday the main feature will be meltemias.

If there are some rains, they will concern eastern and northern Greece.

The weather conditions were mild with a temperature of 24 to 27 degrees Celsius.

From Maundy Thursday onwards some disturbances from central Europe will move further east.

Maundy Thursday until Easter Monday is very likely to encounter unsettled weather conditions mainly in the west, central and north and especially midday and afternoon hours when we may have storms and showers.

Specifically, the areas that will be affected are: Ionian, western mainland Greece, western and central Sterea, Macedonia, Thrace.
