The verdict of the Three-Member Court of Criminal Appeals of Ioannina is expected today, in the case of the prosecutor from Corfu, who is accused of criminal abuse of power and embezzlement of public documents.
The case was revealed in 2019, when it was established that thousands of case files were removed from the service of the prosecutor in question, leading to the statute of limitations for many offenses and felonies.
The accused former prosecutor denied fraud, claiming she was not returning the documents due to her heavy workload.
