“The atmosphere is slowly clearing from the African dust. Low to the ground there was more dust at midnight on Tuesday (23.04.24), and not when the sky was orange. This is because the dust has settled and the issue is what we are breathing, not whether the color of the sky has changed”, points out Panagiotis Giannopoulos and adds that “we will still have dust until Wednesday afternoon in the eastern Aegean”.
However, tomorrow the westerly winds that in ancient Greece had given them the name “Skiron” are coming and according to the well-known meteorologist, “we will see a clear sky with westerly winds in Athens.
However, it will rain in the west and north of the country, i.e. in the Ionian, Epirus, Macedonia and Thrace. At the same time, of course, in the highlands of Epirus and western Macedonia we will see snow at an altitude above 1,500 meters”.

The temperature will drop in the rest of the country as well, but it is clearly better than the “sick” 35 degrees in the south.

From Saturday onwards, north winds will prevail in the Aegean that will strengthen to 7 Beaufort, while the temperature will reach 25-26 degrees Celsius”, while for the Holy Week “there does not seem to be anything special in terms of the weather, while in Athens it will be 26-28 degrees Celsius maximum”.
