The video that led to the identification of leading members of the criminal organization of hooliganbrought to light by SKAI.

Thanks to this video, ELAS managed to “bind” the data on the “heads”, who are allegedly involved in the attack on police officers of the Y.A.T. in Rentis resulting in the death of Police Chief George Lyggeridis.

At about 6 in the afternoon December 5, 2022, before the basketball match between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos was held at SEF, 50-100 followershaving covered their facial features with full-face hoods, holding Molotov-type Improvised Incendiary Devices (IEDs) and wooden poles, they started from the SEF parking lot entrance towards the underground passage leading to the SKAI building and attacked police officers.

The police managed to push the fans towards the entrance of the stadium parking lot where, now numbering around 250, they continued the attacks with throwing objects against the platoons.

As part of the investigation, video material was found on Instagram, in which the movements of the perpetrators can be seen.

According to SKAI, two people are wearing Santa costumes and give the order for the attacks on the police forces that were in the underpass and next to the station building. From the videos as well as statements, it emerged that the 27-year-old manager of a well-known trapper he was dressed in a Santa Claus outfit and wearing a gas mask as well as a bag containing Molotov cocktails.

In addition, there is also a 24-year-old arrested, the deputy leader as they say, who also wore a Santa Claus outfit and white beards.

In fact, in the specific case file it is stated that the specific attack is characterized as similar in homicidal intent and of the same scale as that which developed in Rentis.
