The Deputy Minister of Sports will be in Larissa today and tomorrow
Ioannis Vroutsis (he will, however, spend the night in Volos due to the fullness of the hotels in the Thessalian capital, due to the holding of the Pan-Hellenic tennis championship), who will initially give a press conference in the Region of Thessaly together with the regional governor, Dimitris Kouretas, for the International Cycling Tour that is interesting for Karditsa, a small part of Elassona and a sprint in Larissa.
Where the greatest interest will logically be concentrated is the visit of Mr. Vroutsis to the sports facilities of Larissa which are closed. For this reason, he will visit them in the afternoon (around 6:00 p.m.), where he will talk with the members of the Management Committee of the EAK, but also see first-hand the problems that exist, especially in the Alcazar stadium, which is not in operation.
Tomorrow he will have a meeting at 10.00 in the morning with the mayor of Larissa, Thanasis Mamakos and they will talk about sports issues.
A group of his associates will be with him, while after Larissa he will go to Chalkida.
We remind you that the International Cycling Tour of Greece 2024 starts its racing program on May 15 in Thessaloniki, where the previous day (May 14) the official presentation of the 20 teams and 120 athletes will have taken place.
