Emphasizing safety at sea, the Association of Recreational Boat Owners “Newarchos”, organizes a specialized seminar on “Emergency at sea – abandoning the boat, use of a life raft”. A seminar aimed at both professional boat crews and anyone traveling on any vessel (recreational, fishing, etc.).
Theoretical part: Friday, April 26 at 19:00 at the Heraklion Sailing Club.
Practical part: Saturday, April 27, 11:30 at Marina Cafe pier. There will be a full life raft activation and a demonstration by the boat crew.
The seminar will provide a member of “Nearchos” with certified training from the Hellenic Navy, as well as the British Navy (HMS Excellent) in dealing with a fire on a ship and survival at sea. Participation is free. The event is organized in collaboration with the Heraklion Sailing Club.
