The DKM-TDE faction is currently presenting its ballot, which is participating in the elections of the TEE of Western Greece that will be held on May 19.

The event started this afternoon at 19.30 at the W multipurpose hall in Rio, with the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy Alexandra Sdoukou and the Regional Governor of Western Greece Nektarios Farmakis as guests.

The head of the DKM-TDE combination Yannis Selimis spoke at the event, who has been quite active in recent months, intending to prove convincingly that he is aiming for victory.

O Mr. Selimis criticized in the previous TEE administration, citing personal ambitions that led to inaction. He also spoke of indifference towards new colleagues and local committees.

He characteristically said that, “the time has come for the TEE to acquire its lost glory and the position it deserves, so that it can offer to our region”.

“Based on the common good, we will make convergences with other forces as well. We do not hide behind petty political expediencies. We are next to everything that helps our society. Our faction is the only one that can overthrow the established regime and system in TEE. That’s enough! We continue our effort for the great victory”.

From his side the regional governor of Western Greece, Nektarios Farmakis during his speech he said:

“Our connection with TEE is essential. Our cooperation is based on due respect and the science of the world of engineers who help us solve important problems. People from this mechanism work for PDE and know where solutions and interventions are needed”.

“We must proceed with openness to all of society and efficiency. May 19 is my birthday, give me a present”.

Then, from the podium, the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, Alexandra Sdoukou, said the following:

“I started as a lawyer and I did not imagine that I would have such love for your industry and such excellent cooperation. Now I feel more like an engineer than a lawyer. I had two good omens. Before, as I got closer to the west I could see the sky clearer and bluer than the African dust.

And secondly, I got positive vibes that this time there will be a big twist. I feel happy to be here. Through the collective bodies we feel the responsibility to offer to our fellow citizens. I am also here as a valued partner of TEE. We have chosen to join a multitude of programs with a double effect.

The first is the achievement of the national goals for saving energy and reducing pollution and the second by highlighting the scientific training of engineers. In less than 5 years we have invested 3 billion in related programs. The role of engineers is very important”.

The victory of the Mechanical and Electrical Engineers was the harbinger of the change that will come to TEE as well so that we can all lead it to where it deserves”.

The combination downloads a ballot with 46 candidates for the May 19 elections in Achaia. The candidates for the combination in alphabetical order are as follows:
