The well-known weather presenter Sakis Arnautoglou posted on his personal Facebook account about the weather situation in the coming days.

According to what he reports, the African dust leaves by this evening, and for tomorrow, Thursday (25/4), rain is expected in some areas.

Holy Week with good weather

As he underlines, the weather will be generally good on Friday and the weekend with weakened winds on the seas and good temperatures for the season.

At the same time, as he notes, according to the current data, from next Sunday, but also on most days of Holy Week, the weather conditions will be good “in most areas of the country, with a few local showers in the mountains of central and northern Greece during the hot hours of the day”.

The weather on Easter Sunday is a mystery

As for the weather on Easter, he says: “Although relatively far, with today’s forecast data, it remains puzzling for Sunday (5/5) as to the possibility of occurrence of phenomena and in which regions of the country, because in terms of temperature the weather should to still look towards the spring.”

In the same post, the well-known meteorologist thanks his followers for their support in his decision to stand as a candidate in the upcoming European elections with PASOK / KINAL, at the same time presenting his ecological sensibilities.

“The dust from the west to the east gradually subsides until late at night tonight. Winds on Thursday will blow from west directions 3 to 5 in the North Ionian and North Aegean, and at 5-7 Beaufort in their southernmost parts. The temperature at noon at 20-24 degrees in the north, 20-21 degrees in the west, 25-27 in the eastern mainland and 22 to 24 degrees in the Aegean islands.

In general, the weather will be good next Friday and Saturday, with weakened winds on the seas and good temperatures for the season.
According to today’s data, from next Sunday, but also on most days of Holy Week, the weather will remain good in most areas of the country, with a few local showers in the mountains of central and northern Greece during the warm hours of the day.

The temperature at noon will remain at fairly normal levels for the season, along with relative coolness at night and in the morning hours.

As for the winds during Holy Week, north winds should prevail, which only in the Aegean will reach 5-7 and possibly in the Cyclades locally 8 Beaufort. Although relatively far off, with today’s forecast, the weather for Easter Sunday remains mysterious in terms of the possibility of phenomena and in which areas of the country, because in terms of temperature it should still be looking towards spring!
