Something more than… intense was tonight’s (23.04.2024) episode of Survivor. It had… everything: exits, fights, tension and a candidate.

Since the beginning of the week, George Lianos has announced to the Survivor players that any victory in an immunity match will carry special weight for Thursday’s match and the grand prize.

The departures of James Kafetzis, Alexis Pappa and today of Savvas Gentsoglou seem to have affected the players of both teams, with their nerves, after 4 months in Santo Domingo, hitting… red.

The climax of the tension was what happened in the third immunity match, when Yiannis Perpataris shouted loudly and disturbed Stavroula Chrysaeidi. With the score at 2-2 and while Fanis and Christoforos were playing, Chrysaeidi pushed Perpataris and he raised his hand in a gesture that suggests a threat.

The tension was so great that Giorgos Lianos stopped the match. “Get it together” on the one hand, “get it together, the number is coming and pushing me” on the other, “you’re the number, fake man” and ironic applause from Chrysaeidi.

“I was playing and I heard him say, ‘What are you doing, sourgelo, go further back, don’t let me slap you,'” Fanis Boletsis said to Stamatis Taladianos when they were discussing the incident on the Blue bench.

After the end of the match, the tension had, of course, not left the players. Katerina Dalaka said that she does not want Fanis Boletsis to speak to her again until the end of the game because he spoke badly to Giorgos Giulekas (“I have you 17-12”) but also to Yiannis Perpataris. The Blues player spoke about the “inappropriate” comment.

Yiannis Perpataris apologized for his gesture but did not convince the Blues and especially Stamatis Taladianos.

“How much will you apologize? We have seen many times that he behaves in a way that is not befitting of such a television program, talking and behaving towards women in this way. You can’t say to a woman: “get out of here, I’ll slap you”. As for the drill. In his vocabulary he only has “karagiozis”, “clown” and “sourgelo”.

I do not accept his apology for Stavroula because he has spoken badly to both Dora and Aira. He has also cursed and threatened me. How sorry” he added, with Yiannis Perpataris replying that he loves women.

When the two groups returned to their huts, the fight continued, with Yiannis Perpataris arguing with Fanis Boletsis because he chose to bring up the topic of the fight when the cameras went to the beach and not in person.

Stamatis Taladianos put Dora Nikolis into the equation, but she distanced herself, despite her bad relations with Perpataris.

In her cue, Stavroula Chrysaeidi revealed that she has been told that Yannis Perpataris says that she begged him and asked to know when this happened.

In the Council, the issue of the fight in the match came up again, while the Reds took issue with Fanis Boletsis, accusing him of arrogance and bad behaviour.

In the match now, the Blues took their third victory in the immunity match and forced the Reds to vote a third player for the relegation duel. And their choice was Christofos Taxidis.

“I’m about to reach Chryssa” he said jokingly and noted that where things have come, with Giorgos Papacharalambous having hit his finger and Asimina injured, there weren’t many options.
