Greece with five crews in the Men’s – Women’s European Championships in Hungary!

Greece is ready for its participation in the Men’s – Women’s European Championship in Hungary

The National rowing team left for Zeged, Hungary at noon on Monday (22/4) in order to take part in the European Men’s-Women’s championship that will be held from Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th April.

A total of 9 sportsmen and women who make up five crews make up the Greek team who will seek to make a performance similar to last year’s in Bled, Slovenia when Greece celebrated three silver and one bronze medal.

The Greek team consists of:

Stefanos Duskos (skiff)

Yannis Kalandaridis-Nikos Cholopoulos (double skiff)

Zisis Boukouvalas-Thanasis Palaiopanos (double without)

Evangelia Anastasiadou- Christina Bourbou (double without)

Zoe Fitsiu-Milena Kontou (double sculls)

The athletes are accompanied by the Federation’s technical advisor Gianni Postilione, the Federation’s coach Dimitris Petrou, the Federation’s doctor Dr. Giannis Christoyannis, the physical therapist Andreas Kalogeropoulos while the leader of the expedition is the president of the Federation Giannis Vrambas.

The weekend finals will be broadcast on ERT Sports.
