The Kasselakis conversation with monks in Amorgos

The president of SYRIZA, as can be seen in the video presented by ANT1’s “Morning” show, talked to them in a relaxed atmosphere and while talking to them, he said that half of Greece would very much like him to be alone.

Here is the dialogue that followed:

  • Stefanos Kasselakis: I expect you. From the mouth of God tell me over here how many you are
  • Solitary: The elders will keep, to increase. We are few
  • Stefanos Kasselakis: Shall I come alone too?
  • Solitary: Yes, yes (laughs)
  • Stefanos Kasselakis: Half of Greece would love this. Okay, get rid of me (laughs)
  • Solitary: So that is how it is; The other half?
  • Stefanos Kasselakis: The other half would like me not to be lonely. He would like me to change everything
  • Solitary: Good, don’t bother to change them. If you have to change them, don’t stay

At that moment the president of SYRIZA sat on a terrace, where from behind there was absolute emptiness since the monastery is built at a height of 300 meters from the sea. Then the monks and associates shouted to him to be careful, with him laughingly replying: “Children, calm down, I’m not going anywhere even though half of Greece would like me to go.”
