Leading presence in Corfu with more than twice as many stores as the competition

The new, renovated and bigger one was inaugurated store of Diamantis Masoutis SA. in Corfuon Saturday, April 20, 2024.

The store is located at the 1st km of the Corfu – Lefkimmi National Road, it is developed on 1,600 sq.m. and employs 30 workers.

The “leading presence” of Diamantis Masoutis S.A. in Corfu is depicted with the operation of 18 stores in key parts of the island, more than double the number of the competition’s storeswith a turnover of approx 4% of the total turnover. Over time, as the company’s announcement states, the company invests in organic growth in the Region, strengthening its dynamicswhich is fully in line with its philosophy of being present in as many places as possible, with stores that stand out for the upgraded shopping experience they offer consumers.

It is worth mentioning that in Corfu the company employs a total of 314 workerscontributing substantially to the local economy, maintaining unchanged its family character which is one of the core values ​​of Diamantis Masoutis SA.

With an eye “focused on the Region” that is at the heart of the company’s development strategy from its foundation until today, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. has established its presence through organic growth in southern Greece, the Aegean and the Ionian, naturally always maintaining the leading position in Northern Greece. Specifically, the development plan for southern Greece for 2024 includes 2 new stores in Attica in the Treis Gefyres and Nea Smyrni areas, 1 in Evia, Chalkida and the entry into one more Ionian island after Corfu which will be Lefkada . The greater importance given to the Region is confirmed by the renovation program, which includes 12 stores, while the renovation of 3 more in Athens is planned.
The investments for the development of new stores and renovations for 2024 exceed €25 million.

During the opening of the renovated store in Corfu, the representative of the Corfu Police Directorate, Policeman Efstathios Kantarelis, was present who stated: “Through this investment, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. its priority is to take care of the business, the employees and the residents of Corfu and we, for our part, offer the necessary security”.
