Domestic violence: 9 people handcuffed in Patras, Agrinio and Nafpaktos

Nine people were arrested in Patras, Agrinio and Nafpaktosfor domestic violence cases.

In Patra

Also, a man and a woman (husbands) were arrested, because they sued each other for domestic violence. According to the complaints, the man pulled his hair and threatened his wife, while the woman threatened him.

Also, a man was arrested because his ex-wife reported him, saying that he threatened her over the phone.

In another case, a man and a woman (partners) were arrested because they accused each other of the offenses of domestic violence, verbal abuse and false accusation, as the case may be. According to the complaints, the man threatened his partner and the woman threatened him, abused him, hit him and falsely accused him.

In Agrinio

A man was arrested, against whom a case had been filed for attempted rape and domestic violence. The defendant was reported by his estranged wife, stating that he abused her and tried to have intercourse with her without her consent, which she resisted. In addition, according to the woman’s complaint, the defendant has been threatening her for the past few days, causing her fear and anxiety.

Also arrested was a man who was reported by his estranged wife for verbally abusing her via text and phone.

In Nafpaktos

A man was arrested after his sister filed a complaint against him for domestic bodily harm, verbal abuse and threats, while he also alleged that he caused bodily harm to their mother.
