Positive development for SUNLIGHT’s large investment in Kozani

About what will happen next with the big investment of Sunlight, which we hear but do not see, was asked by the Regional Councilor of the “Elpida” combination, Mr. Giorgos Christoforidis, the Regional Governor of Western Macedonia, Giorgos Amanatidis.

It is about Sunlight’s investment of 1.5 billion for a mega-factory for the production of lithium cells, which can provide up to 2,000 jobs according to what has been written so far.

Mr. Amanatidis, measuring his words, noted that as of yesterday’s briefing, Sunlight’s investment has been submitted to a financing program, with investment points in Kozani and Western Macedonia, and that the development is in a normal framework, with the geotechnical studies to have been completed for the issue of the foundations and the next study to be done is also planned. “Until now, what I know is that the procedures are proceeding normally and in the next period, if nothing drastic happens, it seems that the preliminary agreement will be signed as wellhe emphasized.
