The facts that are constantly coming to light, regarding the 67 arrests related to the case of the murder of the police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis in Rentis, are causing a sensation.
Giorgos Kalliakmanis, president of the union of police officers of SE Attica, speaking today (23.04.2024) on Kalimera Greece, referred to the case of the arrests for the tragic death of the policeman.
“17 people out of 60 with a leading role in the criminal organization of hooligans”, he initially stated and emphasized that the investigation by EL.AS. lasted four months.
“Some evidence, some technical evidence had to be analyzed at the CJEU in order to establish the involvement of some in more than one act of fan violence. Many of them are marked. But now now they have a problem, because the charge is for a criminal organization”, write down.
“Around 60 people were leaders and deputy leaders. And the terrible thing is that, after the murder, they are heard saying: “we achieved our goal, we succeeded, a policeman was killed, a policeman died”
As the president of the union of police officers of SE Attica commented “some exploit these children to do other jobs. We see these kids with the aggression doing hookups and drug dealing.”
When asked why these cases are not closed, he answered that “maybe there was a phobia, knowing that ‘we won’t get there’.” Businessmen support parties, businessmen have nothing to do with it, some actors exploit these children to do their jobs” and in closing he emphasized:
“We must forget that we will reach persons who are high, we will not get there, it is some others who are taking advantage”.
