In detail, he stated: “I think my parents are very happy about his progress. I think they love me very much and are happy and proud. It was also my goal. My mom still remembers that I once told her that I will make her proud one day. I had failed the first final exams in drama and she was worried, then I had told her not to be sad, that I know what she is thinking and that one day I will manage to make her proud”.
He then described how his parents’ peace of mind is something he longs for in his personal life, while at the same time emphasizing the right of all people to be able to chart a common path. I’m not jealous of jobs, successes, I’m not jealous of professional goals or full theaters – I’m especially happy if it’s a friend of mine who enjoys this thing – I’m jealous in a good way and I admire beloved people. The people who have grown up together, grown old together and built a beautiful life together. I’ve made a beautiful life for myself, so I’m happy about that. But, to build a beautiful life together with another human being, oh it’s so beautiful, and we shouldn’t deprive anyone of that and that’s one reason I fought for what I fought for. No man should be deprived of this right.”
