The SYRIZA member of parliament P.S. met with representatives of the Tripoli Bar Association and the Arcadia Court Clerks’ Association. George Papailiou.

The MP heard the views of the representatives on the draft law that concerns him judicial map.

He emphasized that he does not serve the administration of justice, nor regional politics and development. On the contrary, according to Giorgos Papailiou, this intervention burdens the administration of Justice and slows it down.

Also, the MP states that this legislative intervention does not take into account the mountainous relief of the land and the Polynesian nature of the country.

At the same time, it creates problems of desertification of the countryside.

Regarding Arcadia, Giorgos Papailiou states that it is judicially divided into three parts, in a way that does not correspond to its administrative boundaries.

Giorgos Papailiou requested the implementation of the Presidential Decree, according to which the seat of the Peloponnese Court of Appeal is Tripoli and not Nafplio, which was temporarily moved and has remained there for many years.
