Thessaloniki: A cleaner is accused of photographing a child in the toilets of a kindergarten

A kindergarten cleaner is accused of photographing a child half-naked while defecating in the school toilets in Thessaloniki.

According to the information, the case was reported in May 2022 in a kindergarten in Thessaloniki and is now being referred to a Mixed Jury Court. The 56-year-old cleaner has been prosecuted for producing and possessing child pornography material, breaching the privacy of telephone communication in the form of recording a non-public act and for collecting personal data.

The cleaner during her statement to the investigator, she denied the accusations against her and maintains that the complaint is a slander against her. After her plea, she was released with restrictive conditions. Apart from the conditions of appearing at a Police Department and the ban on leaving the country, she was also banned from approaching the particular kindergarten.
