Larissa: An evening of poetry, music and stars at the 6th Astronomy Week

“Night full of miracles, night sown … stars”, a rare evening full of poetry, music and photographs of stars, constellations and galaxies had the opportunity to be enjoyed by the people of Larisa who were in the courtyard of the French Institute, as part of the 6th Astronomy Week, from the School of Astronomy, of CoinSep “Enastron” and the Educational Cultural Center of Larissa – POKEL.

In the 1st part of the event, the astrophysicist of the National Observatory of Athens, Dr. Fiori – Anastasia Metallenou gave an in-depth presentation on “Exploring the Sounds of the Universe”.
In the 2nd part, the night became magical, with songs from the soulful voice of Fiori – Anastasia Metallinou and music on the guitar from Spyros Kavallierato, with an excellent selection of songs from Manos Hatzidaki, Mikis Theodorakis, Evanthia Reboutsika, Giorgos Stavrianos, etc. A small surprise came from a student, only in the 2nd grade, who recited her own verses and then poems, which the philologist Vily Hadoulitsi had chosen, from the poets: Odyssea Elytis, Giorgos Seferis, Yiannis Ritsos, Nikos Kavadias, Tasso Livaditi, Tito Patrikios, Andreas Empirikos, Takis Papatsoni, Vladimir Mayakovsky et al. recited by: Zoe Iourouki, Maria Diamanti, Haroula Sani, Dora Vaggia, Georgia Yagou, Tasoula Kyousi, Chrysa Mastorodimou and Vangelis Rembapis. Argyris Giouroukis directed and coordinated the event.
