Peletidis and Petropoulos will meet with G. Vroutsis tomorrow

--

With a “full” agenda of many and serious outstanding issues for the sports of Patras, tomorrow at noon (12.50) the meeting of the municipality with the Deputy Minister of Sports Yannis Vroutsis will take place in Athens.

The Municipality of Patreon will be represented by the Mayor Kostas Peletidis and the Deputy Mayor for Sports Takis Petropoulos who will be at the Ministry after the positive response to the request they had submitted days ago.
According to information, there are three main requests that Peletidis-Petropoulos will make to Yannis Vroutsis, asking for his support.

The first and main one has to do with financing for the maintenance of the Pamploponnisian stadium, with the state owing 6 million euros from the past. From this money, a part will be requested either by regulation or by direct payment – for the immediate replacement of the two tartans, – central and auxiliary – and a part to build two corridors inside the stadium that will help to do gymnastics on days with bad weather conditions,
Also, an amount will be requested annually for hiring staff for cleaning and guarding the municipal sports facilities.
Another issue that is very important for the municipal authority is the reconstruction of 28 neighborhood basketball courts with a program costing 2 million euros. The municipal authority will ask for a part of this money to help with its own resources the rest and to start the program to change the shape of district courts in many neighborhoods of the city.
