The Grand Hotel Palace is pleased to announce the new collaboration with the company TEXCYCLE GREECE, which specializes in the recycling of textile materials, such as sheets, towels, aprons, work uniforms and other textile items, with the aim of contributing to sustainable waste management.
It is the company’s first collaboration with the Hospitality sector. The above items that are not suitable for donation are recycled, thus giving them a second chance at life.
The second part of the collaboration concerns the placement of a clothes recycling bin in the hotel facilities, thus promoting recycling among guests and partners.

The global production of textile products is estimated to be responsible for around 20% of the world’s fresh water pollution, due to the dyeing and finishing of the products, and has the fourth largest impact on the environment and climate change, after household food and transport.
