THE George Liagas on the occasion of the comments made in the previous days regarding the deletion of Dimitris Papanotas from the SYRIZA European ballot paper, he commented on age racism on the “Morning” show.
The presenter referred to Nikos Moutsinawho last year – according to him – was saying that “Giorgos Liagas is a dinosaur and must leave TV”while he emphasized that because he is a man, he was not commented on by anyone.

More specifically, he said: “Because I am one of the first who has spoken about a worse form of racism, because for me age racism is a real problem that no one mentions. Because Mr. Papanotas had made an unfortunate statement about Mrs. Maggira “that it is possible that at 50 she remembered to have a career?”. By what logic is this sexist and racist against Maggira and when Mr. Mousinas came out for me every day and said that the dinosaur should leave the television, he didn’t open his nose because I’m a man? I am 54, by what logic does Mr. Mousinas decide that I should not be on TV and I should leave? Although the world decides”.
Afterwards, Giorgos Liagas emphasized: “Mr. Mousinas has been saying for half a year that I am a dinosaur and I must leave television. No one ever commented on that because I’m a man.”
