A very serious incident with a racist attack and even in a U19 match of our country’s championship became known shortly after what had happened to Andreas Tetei in Kifissia – Volos.

Hellas: The complaint was made by Aeolikos with the victim of the player of the K19 team from Gambia, in a game with the corresponding team of Levadeako for the Championship, with teams from Super League 2.

According to the complaint, the incident was recorded at the Zagara Stadium in Livadia during the first half of the match between the two teams for the Super League 2 K19 youth championship. This is what Aeolikos says in the complaint:

WITH LAMIN! ALWAYS AND FOREVER!

We unequivocally condemn the incident of racist attack against our footballer Lamin Muhammed Sama by a “fan” of Levadeia, in a sort of “stand” of the Zagaras Stadium in Livadeia, during the first half of the match between us for the Super League 2 youth championship. K19.

RACISM HAS NO PLACE IN OUR SOCIETY!

The only hope in such sad phenomena, in the Greece of 2024, is the immediate reaction of the young footballers of the Levadea K19, who, together with his teammates in the Aeolian K19, ran to Lamin to calm him down and support him, as well as the majority of “platform” that rushed to support the 18-year-old footballer from the Gambia.

END TOLERANCE!

Congratulations to the referee of the match George Touloumis (Evia) and his assistants Giannis Dovolis and Thanasis Paloumpis, who immediately informed him about the incident, but also for the way they dealt with it, given the special conditions of the match
