Olympiacos is also a winner in Greece, as it prevailed over PAOK in the “G. Karaiskakis” with a score of 2-1, for the 6th matchday of the Stoiximan Super League Playoffs.

In a match in which the “red and whites” were superior to their opponent and could have scored even more goals, especially in the first half of the match. From early on, Olympiacos showed its mood in the match, entering the field strongly a few days after the historic qualification to the semi-finals of the UEFA Conference League against Fenerbahce in Turkey.

In the 15th minute, Tzolakis from his area made the ball for Navarro, who came out four-four and scored, but his goal was canceled as offside. Ten minutes later, Koulierakis brought down Navarro in the area and the referee showed the white penalty stick. Podense took over the execution in the 27th minute, but Kotarski was sent off and in the restart Kini made it 1-0 in the game with a spot kick from the right.

Olympiacos went on the counterattack with Podense making a terrible vertical ball for Martins and the Portuguese made it 2-0 with a spot kick. In the 70th minute, it was Podense’s moment to threaten, when he curled a shot from a lateral position on the right inside the area and the ball went narrowly past Kotarski’s post.

The visitors threatened in the 77th minute after a counter ball to Retsos in Samata’s turn, but Tzolakis reacted correctly and kicked for a corner, while in the 84th minute Horta made the shot from outside the area with Kotarski firmly blocking.

PAOK reacted and in the second minute of stoppage time scored with Marcos Antonio after a cross from Zivkovic and thus the final score of the match was 2-1.
